MAKE WAVES @ THE WAUPACA AREA PUBLIC LIBRARY THIS SUMMER!

Programs run June 7th through July 30th and are for grades 6-12.

Sign up here for the Summer Library Teen Program or in the Teen Room at the library. You can earn entries to our Grand Prize Drawing at the Finale party! Every time you get five entries, you earn a free book or prize!

Participate by:

1. Writing a book review on Infosoup.org or The Book Blog for Teens. Just let us know what you reviewed so we can read it too!

2. Bring your checkout receipt to the Teen Room to get credit for reading. Print based materials only! (Music and movies don’t count, but audio books do!)

3. Participate in a Summer Program.

All events begin at 1:00 and end at 3:00 in the Teen Program Room.

Every Monday- Board Game Tournament:
Join us for an on-going board game tournament. We’ll play Monopoly, Killer Bunnies, and more! Points will be totaled all summer long, and a Grand Champion will be crowned July 26th!

Every Tuesday- Crafty Tuesdays:
We’ll be having a crafty good time on Tuesdays! There will be a new project every week including: button making, jewelry making, duct tape projects, yupo painting, mehndi tattoos, and more!

Every Wednesday- Gaming @ the Library:
Come play Wii, Rockband, Guitar Hero, DDR, and more! Tournament style play for teens 6th—12th grade! A winner every week!

Every Thursday- Hunger Games Training:
Are you ready to head into the Arena? Join us for Hunger Games Training. Different Hunger Games activities each week are designed to prepare you for trivia in the Arena on July 29th. A grand prize will be awarded to the winner! Activities will include archery, face painting, and more!

Every Friday- Friday Flicks:
Join us for Friday Flicks and popcorn at the Library!

The Weekly Code Game is Back!
Watch for Hunger Games/Catching Fire Trivia IN CODE all summer long in the window of the program room! Do you know the answer? Can you figure it out? There will be a new code and a new winner every week!

Program Finale Party is July 30!
