This book is in the Shenandoah Album series. I realized that I had read another book in the series after I began the story. Each book in the series is titled after a classic quilt pattern. Sister's Choice tells the story of estranged sisters who have forged a new relationship (in the previous book, Lover's Knot)Kendra and her husband are childless and Kendra has given up on the idea of ever having children. But her sister Jamie seeks forgiveness with the gift of life itself. Younger sister Jamie offers her services as a surrogate and Kendra accepts the incredible gift. The story is complicated by a handsome contractor whose history we learn in installments form his grandmother. This book holds many surprises for the reader and I finished it with tissues on hand. Another wonderful story of sisters and rebirth!
