Tuesdays at 10:00 am and 4:30 pm; Fridays at 10:00 am (Lower Level Meeting Room B)

Children under 2 with caregiver.  Share 20 minutes of stories, nursery rhymes, songs and bounces. Each session ends in a free play period. No registration necessary.

Toddler Time

Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am (Children's Dept. Program Room - Lower Level)

For 2 - 3 1/2 year-olds and their caregivers. Enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and activities. No registration required.

Story Time

Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:45 am (Children's Dept. Program Room - Lower Level)

This 45 minute session is designed for the more independent 3 1/2 - 5 year old features stories, games, songs and rhymes, and activities designed to help children build school skills. No registration is required.

Homework Help

Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm (Lower Level Meeting Rooms)

For students in Grades 3-5. Bus transportation provided from the WLC. Healthy after school snack, a story, and volunteers to help students with homework. Free play time and occasional art activity available until parent can pick up. More information available in Children's Dept. Registration is required.

Elise and Franklin have always been best friends. Elise has always lived in the big house with her loving Uncle and Aunt, because Elise's parents died when she was too young to remember them. There's always been a barn behind the house with eight locked doors on the second floor.


When Elise and Franklin start middle school, things feel all wrong. Bullying. Not fitting in. Franklin suddenly seems babyish. Then, soon after her 12th birthday, Elise receives a mysterious key left for her by her father. A key that unlocks one of the eight doors upstairs in the bar . . .

The Mother-Daughter Book Club meets monthly to talk about a selected book.  Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch; the library will provide dessert and beverage.  Copies of the book are available for check out at the Children's Dept. circulation desk.  For more information, call 715-258-4417.
