Community centered Public Library seeks a dynamic, artistic individual to act as Exhibit Room Coordinator. The part time position (4-5 hours a week) includes selection and coordination of exhibits, leading volunteers, exhibit set up and take down and attendance at 3-4 meetings per month. Skills in marketing, fundraising, and grant writing desirable. Art/museum work experience is a plus. Interested candidates are asked to fill out an application (available online or in person) and submit their resume to the Library Director at Waupaca Area Public Library.  Jan Brett will be at the Waupaca Middle School auditorium on Sunday, December 4th. Here is everything you need to know!

The Waupaca Library needs adults on Wednesdays after school to help students Grades 3-4 with homework from 3:30-5:00. See Sue in the Children's Dept.

Need adults with steady hands and good eyesight (able to read very small print) for short term project in Adult Dept. Flexible schedule available. See Dominic for more details.

Preschool Story Time is held on Thursdays and Fridays in the Children's Program Room (lower level) at 10:30 am.  This 45 minute session for preschoolers and their caregivers includes stories, songs, fingerplays, and literacy activities.  No registration is necessary.

Saturday Story Time is offered the first Saturday of the month at 10:30 am.  All are welcome!

Sweater Mittens
Saturday, November 12, 2016 - 10:00am - 1:00pm

Smittens: mittens made from sweaters.

Workshop will be set up in the downstairs library meeting rooms. Bring in an old sweater to cut up for smitten parts. We will have directions, sewing machines, and volunteers to help.
