"The World of Jan Brett," is here! Visit our lower-level Exhibit Room during normal library hours. 

"The World of Jan Brett," which runs from October 3 through December 23, is a fun and educational traveling exhibit featuring original artwork that invites visitors to step into the stories of Jan Brett. Original artwork introduces cultures from around the world and draws visitors into the world of their favorite books. The exhibit features 66 original paintings from Jan Brett’s bestselling books.

We are also very excited to announce that Jan Brett will stop in Waupaca on Sunday, December 4th at 5 p.m. on her national book tour! The program and book signing with Jan Brett will take place at the Waupaca Middle School Auditorium. "The World of Jan Brett" exhibit will also be open from 2 to 4 p.m. before the program.

This free exhibit, open to the public during library hours, is sponsored by the Waupaca School District, Waupaca Library Foundation, Wisconsin Public Service, Waupaca Breakfast Rotary, the Shopko Foundation, Neuville Motors, Farmers State Bank, Riverhill Dental, Crystal River Inn Bed and Breakfast, Waupaca Foundry, Embellishments, the Bookcellar and Dianna and Jim Klismet.
