The Waupaca Library Exhibit Room is proud to host Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name, a Vietnam War memorial exhibit. This traveling exhibit, made possible by Wisconsin Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Televsion, and the Wisconsin Veteran's Museum, features a photo of every Wisconsinite listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC, as well as those additional names listed on The Highground Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Neillsville, WI.
The exhibit also features memorabilia and photographs from area veterans. Nearly 165,400 men and women from Wisconsin served in the Vietnam War; this exhibit is a great opportunity to thank them for their service and pay tribute to those who were killed in action.
More information on the exhibit can be found at:
Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name will be in the lower level Exhibit Room November 12th through January 5th, is free to the public, and open during regular library hours.
