Explore Common Ground Absent Author Potluck celebrates Sherman Alexie

Explore Common Ground by attending the “Absent Author Potluck.” Experience the author, Sherman Alexie, by listening/watching broadcast interviews and taking a peek at his books. Copies of the author’s books will be available for checkout. You don’t have to read the book before the program, but you’ll want to read “Blasphemy” after “meeting” Sherman Alexie. Alexie’s book of short stories, “Blasphemy” is sometimes funny, often irreverent, but always moving. You may purchase copies of “Blasphemy” from area book sellers or borrow through Infosoup. Bring a dish to pass. Native dishes welcome but not required. No reservations necessary.
