The Waupaca Area Public Library Children's Dept. and Winchester Academy cordially invite you to attend a presentation by Dr. Dipesh Navsaria, pediatrician and Medical Director, Reach Out and Read Wisconsin.

Dr. Dipesh Navsaria discusses the critical importance of the first thousand days of life and the key role human relationships and interactions play in that time period, along with concepts of toxic stress and how early adversity leads to lifelong issues. The importance of early literacy, along with key concepts about literacy development will be reviewed. The structure and concept behind the Reach Out and Read program (which promotes early literacy) will be discussed in this context as a workable approach for busy primary-care medical settings.

Lower Level Meeting Room. Winchester Academy programs are free and open to everyone. Programs begin at 6:30 pm at the Waupaca Area Public Library. Coffee and cookies are served at 6:00 pm.
