5:30 Banned Book Reading with free Spaghetti dinner for sharing your favorite passage from a banned book.
*Banned Books Week is September 28- October 4*
We invite you to celebrate your freedom to read. There will displays of books that have been censored or banned in communities across the nation. The Student Library Advisory Group is planning a banned book reading in the library meeting rooms on October 2 at 5:30. There will be a free spaghetti dinner for those who wish to participate by sharing a portion of a banned book. (Take a look at our guides on Banned Books.)
October 20- 26:
Teen Read Week Reading Marathon in the Best Cellar!
3:30- 8 Monday- Thursday, 3:30- 5:00 Friday, 9:00- 4:00 Saturday, Noon- 4:00 Sunday.
October 30: Scary Movie Marathon 10:00am- 5:00pm
@ 5:00pm, whomever read the most during teen read week gets to put a pie in the face of either Peg or Melissa!
